Phoenix Lab Studio is a dedicated All-on-X laboratory. We exist to do one thing better than anyone in the region — make sure the prosthesis seats, the conversion goes smoothly, and you never get caught short with a patient in the chair.

The lab
An analog foundation, tied together by digital.
The foundation is analog — two decades of hands-on model work, denture finishing, and chairside judgment, built one case at a time. Digital is what ties it together: photogrammetry, exocad design, and CAM production, run by Jessie Potenciano, CDT, so the hands-on craft and the digital precision move as one workflow, not two separate shops.
2005 – 2010 · Bold Dental Laboratory
Where it started
Trained across model work, nightguards, teeth set-up, denture finishing, and AOX restorations. Earned CDT certification in Full Dentures — the foundation everything since has built on.
2010 – 2018 · Independent full-arch practice
Built directly with the schools and hospitals
Worked closely with UCSF and University of the Pacific (UOP) dental schools, plus Highland Hospital, Valley Health Clinics, and CPMC — while piloting early digital AOX programs with Zest (Fixed LOCATORS) and Astra (Conus).
2018 – 2023 · Arklign Dental Laboratory
Quality control at national scale
Led QC for removable and full-arch cases across 500+ doctors nationwide. Lectured on overdenture and digital workflow for Western Dental and for UOP and UCSF, and trained clinicians on Zimvie and Straumann Novaloc digital workflows.
2023 – 2026 · California Dental Arts
Refining the digital workflow
Served as Lead Designer and CAM Specialist, running a photogrammetry-driven All-on-X design and CAM workflow across multiple milling and printing platforms.
Ongoing · Community
Volunteer work beyond the bench
Regular volunteer with CDA Cares, Project Homeless Connect (alongside SFDS), Give Veterans a Smile, and East Bay Stand Down — bringing removable and denture care to patients who wouldn't otherwise have access. On the lab side, our Arch for Arch program funds a free 3D-printed denture for a community clinic patient with every premium-tier full-arch case we fabricate.

Pricing depends on your clinic's setup.
Every practice comes to us differently equipped — and that changes what we need to do. A clinic with an in-house 3D printer and intraoral scanner requires less from our side than one starting from scratch. We quote based on your actual workflow, not a one-size-fits-all fee schedule.
What affects your quote
The two biggest variables are whether your clinic has an intraoral scanner and whether you have an in-house 3D printer or mill. Clinics that can handle their own scanning and provisional fabrication pay less for lab services — we step in for what you don't have.
